Limnos Beach in Chios, Greece

This is a gouache sketch from my trip to Greece this past summer. I traveled with a full oil set with pochade box as well as a selection of gouache colors and travel brushes and a small 4×10 Arches 140lb Watercolor Paper Block, Cold Press for texture. Of course, the gouache set was the easy travel set on a day when you spend it dipping in and out of the ocean and laying on the beach.
