On good days I take a nice long walk through the city during my lunch hour. I cover a lot of ground and go through different neighborhoods and I’ve noticed that each area has it’s own unofficial dress code.
Here is this week’s theme: Fashion
Each week, Françoise Mouly, the art editor for The New Yorker magazine, hosts a contest on her blog, Blown Covers. The theme is revealed on Mondays and entries for ideas are submitted by Thursday at noon. On Fridays, the lot of entries is shared along with 12 runners-up and one winner. This week, I have the honor of taking the top spot as my sketch, “New York Style”, has been picked as the winner!
