Winner of Distinguished Merit!

Treasure Island, digital 3×3 Winner of Distinguished Merit

I just received notice that my piece for Treasure Island is a winner of Distinguished Merit in the Book category in this year’s 3×3 Children’s Show. According to 3×3’s blog, entries were up this year for the children’s show with over 1,700 entries from 35 countries. Forty percent of the entires were from outside the U.S., making it truly an international competition.

3×3 is the magazine of contemporary illustration. In addition to their regular magazine, they hold juried competitions in illustration for advertising, books, editorial, sci-fi, institutional, gallery, unpublished, children’s books as well as a section for student entries. Winners are published in an annual sold on newsstands and bookstores and mailed to Art Directors internationally.
