Nocturne—Greece, gouache sketch 3×3

Each evening, as the sun was setting, the landscape would change into these dramatic, vibrant colors mostly devoid of detail. The towns on the opposite mountains would become earthly constellations as their street lamps lit. I worked quickly as the light was failing in my attempt to capture the colors of the scene before me.
